Short, because there is not much to say. No analytics, no advertising pixels, no cookies set by me. The site is a set of static pages and a few forms.
Only what you type into a form: your name, your email address and your message, plus whichever option you chose (an enquiry, the letter, the podcast launch list, a collaboration note). Forms are relayed by FormSubmit, a form-to-email service, and land in my inbox. FormSubmit states that submissions are retained for up to 30 days, after which they are deleted. I do not buy, rent or scrape lists.
To reply to you, and, if you joined The Eight or the Anteroom list, to send you the thing you asked for. Nothing is passed to third parties, sold, or added to any list you did not choose. If you write about a project, what you tell me stays between us.
Type is served from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests the font files from Google and Google sees your IP address in the process, as it would on most sites. No other third-party resource is loaded.
Ask and I will tell you what I hold about you, correct it, or delete it, usually the same day. Unsubscribe from any list by replying to any email with the word “stop”. Depending on where you live, the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR or Canada’s PIPEDA gives you these rights formally; I would rather you simply asked.
